These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("you", "your") and Pierson Davis, operating bubl ("we", "our", "the app", or "the service"). By downloading, installing, or using bubl, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
bubl is a personal save-and-organize application for iOS that lets you bookmark places, events, deals, flights, and other content you find on the web and social platforms. The app uses on-device processing and cloud-based AI to extract structured metadata from the content you save, making it easier to organize and discover later.
You must be at least 13 years old to use bubl. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf. The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly accept their accounts.
Full access requires signing in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and for all activity that occurs under your account. One account per natural person; do not share credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are shared, automated, or used to abuse the service.
You retain ownership of all content you save into bubl. By using the app you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, process, index, and display that content solely to provide the service to you, to back it up, and to improve core functionality. When you create a share link, you grant us permission to make the shared item's metadata accessible to anyone holding the link for as long as the link is active.
We will never sell your saves, notes, photos, or personal information.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination without notice.
bubl offers a free tier with basic functionality and rate-limited AI enrichment, and an auto-renewable subscription called bubl Premium with higher enrichment limits and advanced features (smart lists, sharing, booking integrations, filters). Prices and periods are displayed in the app at the point of purchase and may vary by region and currency.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions, or via apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling stops renewal; you continue to receive Premium features through the end of the period already paid for.
Eligible new users may receive a free trial of bubl Premium. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, your subscription converts to paid automatically at the list price then shown in the app. You will not receive additional reminders immediately before conversion beyond what iOS surfaces.
All refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms. Unused portions of a paid period are generally not refundable except where required by law. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If we change the price of an active subscription, we will notify you in accordance with Apple's price-change procedure and you will be given the opportunity to accept or decline.
bubl uses a large language model (currently Google Gemini) to extract metadata from your saves. AI output is generated on a best-effort basis and may contain errors, hallucinations, or outdated information. You must verify anything on which you rely — for example, restaurant hours, flight times, or event dates. AI enrichment can be disabled in Settings → Advanced.
The app supports optional user-configured affiliate link generation (e.g., for CJ, Rakuten). Affiliate functionality is off by default; it only activates when you provide your own publisher credentials. bubl does not collect commissions on your behalf. You are solely responsible for compliance with FTC and other applicable affiliate-disclosure regulations.
The app integrates third-party services (Apple, Google Firebase, Google Gemini, PostHog, and optional booking providers such as Resy and OpenTable). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or privacy practices.
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content accessible through bubl infringes your copyright, you may send us a DMCA-compliant takedown notice that includes: (a) the copyrighted work, (b) the infringing material or share URL, (c) your contact information, (d) a good-faith statement of infringement, (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and (f) your physical or electronic signature. Submit notices to our designated agent at bubapplhelp@gmail.com with subject line "DMCA Notice". We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and terminate repeat-infringer accounts.
Shared content is visible only to people with the share link. Anyone who receives a link may report that item by emailing us. We review reports promptly and will remove content that violates these Terms, disable share links, and (at our discretion) terminate the sharing user's account. We do not guarantee any particular response time or outcome.
We strive to keep bubl available and functional, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without uptime guarantees. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bubl, the Developer, and our processors disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI-extracted information is accurate, that saves will be preserved indefinitely, or that the service will be error-free. You are solely responsible for verifying critical information (reservations, flights, events) independently.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the app, whether based on contract, tort, statute, or any other theory. Our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) US $50.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Developer harmless from any claim, liability, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the service, (b) content you save or share, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of a third party's rights.
You may stop using bubl at any time and delete your account in-app via Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, these Terms survive where their nature requires: license grants of your content to us cease for future display, but sections 4 (your ownership), 10 (DMCA), 13 (disclaimers), 14 (liability), 15 (indemnification), and 17–18 continue.
These Terms and any dispute between you and us are governed by the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For disputes not resolved informally, the exclusive venue will be the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. This does not deprive you of mandatory consumer-protection rights granted by the law of your habitual residence.
If you downloaded bubl from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard EULA also applies. Where these Terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the stricter requirement in the Standard EULA controls. You acknowledge that:
Your use of bubl is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect and how we use it. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
